Learning and Growing in Natural Environments
Providing therapy in the home or school allows our Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs) and therapists to observe and address behaviors as they naturally occur. This approach enables us to create highly practical and effective interventions. Whether it’s improving morning routines, fostering positive peer interactions during recess, or enhancing focus in the classroom, our goal is to make a meaningful impact on your child’s daily life.
We work closely with family members and educators to ensure everyone is equipped with the strategies to support the child’s progress, creating a consistent and supportive network for success.
These settings are ideal for teaching functional life skills and addressing behaviors in the context where they happen. It helps children learn to apply new skills in real-world situations, which is crucial for long-term success and independence.
Our therapists can collaborate with your child’s school team to provide support in the classroom, during lunch, or at recess. We work on goals such as following group instructions, participating in academic tasks, and developing social skills with peers, all within the school setting.
In-home therapy is a collaborative process. Parents and caregivers are integral members of the team. You will have the opportunity to observe sessions, learn ABA strategies, and receive direct coaching to help you support your child’s progress between sessions.
